Belt Weigher & Conveyor Scale System

Our Belt Weigher, also known as a Conveyor Belt Scale or Belt Scale, is an industrial weighing system used to continuously measure the weight of bulk materials transported on a conveyor belt.

It is designed to:

  • Measure material weight in motion

  • Calculate flow rate in Tons Per Hour (TPH)

  • Accumulate totalised weight

  • Monitor belt speed

Unlike static weighing systems, a belt weighing system provides real-time measurement without stopping the conveyor.

Belt weighers are widely used in industries such as cement plants, mining operations, stone crushers, ports, power plants, sugar industries, and bulk material handling systems across India.

A Conveyor Belt Scale works using a weigh frame fitted under the conveyor belt with precision loadcells.

Working Principle:

1️⃣ Material passes over the conveyor belt
2️⃣ The weigh frame senses the weight via IP67 loadcells
3️⃣ A tachometer (optional) measures belt speed
4️⃣ The controller calculates:

  • Instantaneous flow rate (TPH)

  • Belt speed

  • Totalised accumulated weight

The graphical LCD display shows real-time:

  • Flow rate in tons per hour

  • Belt speed

  • Totalised weight

The system also provides:

  • 4–20 mA analog output

  • RS485 Modbus communication

This allows integration with DCS and SCADA systems for complete automation of conveyor weighing operations.
